Mark A. Bickel

Mark has been in full time ministry in the Bible Fellowship Church since the early 90’s, coming to Grace in 2009. He serves as Pastor of Adult Ministries and Crossroads, overseeing the discipleship of young adults and the equipping of God’s people for the work of ministry. Mark particularly enjoys training people in how to study the Scriptures and apply what they are reading in their daily lives.
Mark came to Christ as a child through a Good News Club in the Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship where he was actively involved in ministry for over 30 years. He has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University and an M. Div. in Ministry Leadership from Biblical Seminary. After college he stayed in Philadelphia for several years, serving with the Billy Graham Crusade and later as a computer consultant, all the while reaching out to local students in the evenings. Mark then served for 12 years as a full time missionary to college students, first at Tyler School of Art and Penn State Abington, and later with DiscipleMakers at their headquarters in State College. He enjoys the outdoors, photography, scrap booking, rollercoasters and well told stories. An ideal vacation is exploring some new part of the country spending a few days at local amusement parks and museums, followed by several days of camping and enjoying God’s creation at some national park.
Mark’s passion is Training God’s People in God’s Word for God’s Glory.
