Timothy S. Cowen
Tim has served as Assistant Pastor of Grace Bible Fellowship Church since 1997. He is responsible for youth and adult ministries. Specifically, Tim ministers to people's needs and enjoys helping folks discover their gifts. He and his wife Karen partner in getting people plugged in to use their gifts in the church.
Tim's journey to full-time church ministry included growing up as the child of a missionary pastor. He graduated from Northeastern Bible College in Essex Falls, NJ, in 1981 with a BA in Biblical Literature. He taught Bible for one year at a Christian school in NJ. Then he worked as a truck driver for a landscaping firm, and as a manager of a golf course soil manufacturing company. Tim is grateful to God for the way his thirteen years in the secular work world have helped him understand people. Additionally, Tim's role as father to three wonderful children has helped him identify with youth.
Tim's prayer is that God alone would be glorified as he endeavors to be faithful to him.
