Youth
Our purpose is to challenge teens in regard to their faith in Christ. We want to help them become worshipers of God by developing a strong personal relationship with the Lord through studying His word, being with His people and reaching out to the world around them.

For Teens in 6th through 12th grades we have youth group every Wednesday night. The high school (grades 9-12) meets in the youth room and takes part in a time of worship, games and discussion of topics relevant to the world today. The middle school (grades 6-8) usually starts in the gym for games and a time of fellowship. Encourage your kids to come out and bring their friends. The youth staff loves teens, spending time with them and encouraging them in spiritual things.

Summer Sunday school begins on July 4th and this year we will be studying the parables of Jesus. Each week we will view a video with a modern day twist to some of Jesus’ parables like The Good Samaritan, The Talents, The Lost Coin, The Shrewd Manager and many more. Then we will discuss what the truths of the parable would look like in our own lives. The middle school and high school group will be meeting together in the high school room at 10:45 each week. Come join us.

    High School Ministry (grades 9-12)
They will meet together at 10:45 in the Youth Room (Rm 207).
The Bible teaching ministry for the teens is designed to challenge them with the truths and principles found in God’s word. This year we will be looking at the following topics.

Youth Group - Wednesday Nights 7-8:15 pm
      No meetings through the summer.
GEO (Girls/Guys Evening Out) – Every first weekend of the month (September – June)
Girls meet on Friday night at Becky's house and Guys on Sunday night at church. The purpose of GEO is to give the teens a chance to talk about serious issues like dating, sex and relationships in a safe, gender specific environment. Each issue we talk about is related back to the Bible and we help the teens create a biblical view of the topic.
MOSH Night – check calendar (no regular schedule this year)(October – June)
"You enjoyed it last year, so it's back, MOSH Nights. We will open the gym for the teens to come and hang out with their friends and bring new people along with them. We may have crazy theme nights or it may just be a chance to play the Wii, board games or sports in the gym. Food and a testimony time will also be included.
      Mission Trips
This year we are heading oversees to Russia for a youth mission trip. Applications are due September 20 and the team will be formed by October.
      Events
Throughout the year we have events offered to the teens where they can invite their friends and enjoy a safe place to have fun and interact with their peers. Check the calendar for upcoming events. Some highlights of our year are Sno Glo in January and the Spring Retreat in May.
