Special Needs, ASL & Disability Ministry

Everyone Belongs

At Grace Church, we believe every person is created in the image of God and is a valuable part of our church family. Our Special Needs, ASL, and Disability Ministry exists to create an environment where individuals of all abilities can experience God’s love, participate fully in worship, and build meaningful connections.

From ASL interpretation to tailored support and accessible spaces, we are committed to ensuring that everyone can grow in faith and feel at home here. At Grace Church, there’s a place for you.

Accessibility & Accommodation

Lowering physical barriers so everyone can participate in the church

Entrance Ramp

There is a handicap parking and a covered accessible ramp just down from the main entrance to the church. There are automatic doors openers on the ramp doors.

Lift

There is a new vertical lift that can help those with wheelchairs, walkers and other mobility struggles access the first floor, sanctuary and second floor.

Restrooms

The first floor men's and women's rooms each have a wider stall with handrails. We are currently constructing an ADA Family Restroom with adult changing table that should be available by early 2027.

If there is anything else we can do to help lower any barriers to worshipping with us, let us know

Deaf & Hard of Hearing

Deaf & Hard of Hearing

We provide American Sign Language translation in each Sunday worship service and in other all church gatherings. We offer a class for people to learn ASL on Sunday’s after worship (includes instruction for those new to ASL and for those at varying levels of proficiency). There is an ASL Bible Study that meets at the church 2-3 times a month.

Blind & Limited Vision

Blind & Limited Vision

We provide large print lyric sheets for those with difficulty seeing our screens during worship. We also provide the order of worship ahead of time so those desiring to listen to it in advance on their devices can do that. We have several people who are blind or who have difficulty seeing actively involved in the church.

Physical & Intellectual Challenges

Physical & Intellectual Challenges

We encourage everyone to join us for Worship on Sunday mornings. We offer our "Image Bearers Class" during the sermon for those who would better understand the Bible taught in a more accessible manner

Promise Club

Promise Club

We offer "Promise Clubs" on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 6-8pm. We sing songs, hear stories from the Bible, do crafts, play games, and build friendships. We also have a quiet room and other options for those who struggle in larger groups.
